Luise Heckhausen

Almost 100 years lifespan. Luise was an artist, musician, first class decorator, journalist, businesswoman, secretary and an incredible mother.

Without her determination I would not exist. Geraniums were one of her favourite flowers. The outdoors her oasis. Traveling to many places brought her great joy. North Africa, the US, Europe and many others.

She taught me so many things. Driving was one of them and Rechtsschreibung!

Many friends and aquaintance came along her path of life. Sophie, Margot, the Volkszeitung and Stadtwerke staff are some I remember.

Like a toon she recovered from lifes pitfalls and found joy again and again.

If their is the special cloud in heaven for her with musicals, a stiff coffee, Schwarzbrot with cream cheese and a delicious meal, she deserves it well. A good smoke included.

Many people will remember her. She fought hard for the hometown Truemmerfrauen memorial statue. She was one of them bringing Juelich back out of the ashes. RIP.

As a talented artist, journalist, secretary, business supporter, community advocate, mother, grandmother she was very unique.

Never short of an oppinion, a helping hand, advice or raisorsharp humor.

All you needed was Lulu's Love.

Without her determination her son would not be alive. Like a toon, she recovered from many downsides of life.

Geraniums were one of her favourite flowers. Sun bathing, traveling, a strong coffee and a good conversation, the occasional praline' made her happy.

A lot of talents she passed on. We are grateful and we miss her.
